Govt primary schools not reopening Sunday
All government primary schools across the country were scheduled to open on Sunday. However, it has been decided that primary schools will remain closed until further instructions.
This information was provided on Saturday (August 3) in a circular signed by Satyajit Roy Das, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry.
It stated, "Given the current situation and the need to ensure the safety of young children, all class activities at government primary schools under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Shishu Kalyan Trust-run schools, and learning centers operated by the Bureau of Non-Formal Education will be suspended until further notice."
Earlier on July 31, the primary and mass education ministry said primary schools across the country, except those in 12 major city corporations and Narsingdi municipalities, will reopen on August 4.
