Grameenphone recharge services to remain suspended for 13 hrs Friday
Grameenphone has announced that all types of recharge services will remain suspended for 13 hours on Friday (September 19) due to a system upgrade and quality improvement work.
According to a notice published on the operator’s official app MyGP on Thursday evening (September 18), no recharge will be possible on Grameenphone numbers from 1am to 2pm. Customers will not be able to top up their balance through retail outlets, bKash, Nagad, or online banking during this period.
For postpaid users, mobile recharge, bill payment, and bill update services will be unavailable from 1am to 6pm. The company advised customers to clear outstanding bills beforehand to avoid service interruptions.
Grameenphone said the temporary suspension is part of its efforts to enhance service quality and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
The country’s largest telecom operator currently has around 80 million subscribers.
