Hadi to be taken to Singapore for better treatment

Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of the Inqilab Mancha and potential independent candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency, will be taken to Singapore in an air ambulance tomorrow (Monday) afternoon for better treatment.

An emergency conference call was held on the instructions of Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Sunday. Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser for Health Ministry Affairs Professor Dr. Md. Sayedur Rahman, Evercare Hospital specialist Dr. Zafar and Osman Hadi's brother Omar Bin Hadi participated in the meeting. It was unanimously decided to send him abroad.

Over the past two days, the government has been in touch with several hospitals in Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia for Osman Hadi's treatment. The matter was informed to the Chief Adviser on Sunday after consultation with the expert medical team of Evercare Hospital and discussions with family members.

Professor Dr. Md. Sayedur Rahman said that Osman Hadi's physical condition is currently stable and unchanged.

He said that he will be sent to Singapore tomorrow afternoon for advanced treatment. For this purpose, the necessary medical air ambulance, medical team and all travel-related preparations have already been completed. All arrangements have been made for his treatment at the Accident and Emergency Department of Singapore General Hospital.

All expenses related to Osman Hadi's treatment will be borne by the state. The Chief Adviser has instructed the concerned to keep his medical process under constant monitoring.

Meanwhile, the Chief Adviser has sought prayers and supplications from the countrymen for Osman Hadi's speedy recovery.
