Jubo Dal central committee President Abdul Monayem Munna claimed that half of the people who joined National Citizens Patry's rally, were hired.

Addressing a meeting, he said: "You saw the NCP's rally on Friday. Some 1,000 people attended that rally and half of the participants were hired."

"NCP members claim to be so talented and youthful, did their rally seem youthful?"

He said this at a joint meeting of BNP, Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal at a hotel in the city on Saturday (April 3) afternoon. The meeting was organized ahead of a seminar titled 'Youth's Thoughts on Education, Health and Fundamental Rights' in Khulna on May 16.

The Jubo Dal president said: "Three student representatives have been included in the railway reforms. They have been traveling by train with their friends since they became representatives. They are in a picnic mood."

"Those who were against independence in 1971 are now boasting in many ways. They are forgiving someone, pulling someone to their chest, saying one thing in the morning, saying another in the afternoon," he added.

Monayem Munna said: "BNP has been in power several times, has run the country. As an experienced political party, BNP can decide the good or bad for the country, taking it forward. The people of Bangladesh believe in this."

Among others, Jubo Dal Central Committee General Secretary Nurul Islam Nayan, Swechchhasebak Dal President SM Jilani and General Secretary Rajib Ahsan, Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam and General Secretary Nasir Uddin, Metropolitan BNP President Shafiqul Alam Mona, General Secretary Shafiqul Alam Tuhin, along with leaders of BNP and its affiliates in Khulna division were present at the joint meeting.
