Hasnat Abdullah, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, called for the removal of President Mohammed Shahabuddin Chuppu. He made this statement in a Facebook post on Thursday afternoon (October 3). In his post, Hasnat Abdullah said, "The Awami League should be held accountable, a new constitution needs to be established, corrupt bureaucrats from the Awami League should be replaced, all illegal agreements made during Hasina's tenure should be annulled, and Chuppu should be removed from the presidency immediately."

রাষ্ট্রপতি মো. সাহাবুদ্দিনকে অপসারণের দাবি জানিয়েছেন বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের অন্যতম সমন্বয়ক হাসনাত আব্দুল্লাহ। বৃহস্পতিবার (৩ অক্টোবর) দুপুরে এক ফেসবুক পোস্টে তিনি এই দাবি করেন। হাসনাত আব্দুল্লাহ ফেসবুক পোস্টে লিখেছেন, ‘আওয়ামী লীগের বিচার নিশ্চিতকরণ, নতুন সংবিধান গঠন, আওয়ামী দুর্নীতিবাজ আমলাদের পরিবর্তন, হাসিনার আমলে করা সকল অবৈধ চুক্তি বাতিল এবং চুপ্পুকে অনতিবিলম্বে রাষ্ট্রপতি পদ থেকে অপসারণ করতে হবে।’
