Hasnat Abdullah, the convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, along with Nasiruddin Patowari and Aktar Hossain, the conveners of the National Citizens' Committee have visited BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in Gulshan. Five other members of citizens committee were also along them. They first met with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at the chairperson's office in Gulshan at 5:15pm on Saturday. They then proceeded to meet Khaleda Zia. BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed and Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie were also present during this visit.

বিএনপি চেয়ারপারসন খালেদা জিয়ার সঙ্গে দেখা করেছেন বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের আহ্বায়ক হাসনাত আবদুল্লাহ, জাতীয় নাগরিক কমিটির আহ্বায়ক নাসিরউদ্দিন পাটোয়ারী ও আকতার হোসেন। তাদের সঙ্গে নাগরিক কমিটির আরও পাঁচ সদস্য ছিলেন। শনিবার (২৬ অক্টোবর) বিকেল সোয়া ৫টায় গুলশানে বিএনপি চেয়ারপারসনের কার্যালয়ে যান তারা। প্রথমে তারা বিএনপি মহাসচিব মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীরের সঙ্গে বৈঠক করেন। পরে খালেদা জিয়ার সঙ্গে দেখা করতে যান। এ সময় বিএনপির স্থায়ী কমিটির সদস্য সালাহউদ্দিন আহমেদ ও যুগ্ম মহাসচিব শহীদ উদ্দিন চৌধুরী এ্যানি উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
