The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Tuesday (November 11) continued the 10th consecutive day of hearing on the appeal seeking reinstatement of the caretaker government system during national elections. The hearing began in the morning before a seven-member bench of the Appellate Division, led by Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refaat Ahmed. Senior advocate Dr. Sharif Bhuiyan appeared for the petitioners. The court earlier heard the matter on October 21–23, 28–29, and November 2, 4, 5, and 6. The appeal was admitted for hearing after the Appellate Division, on August 27, granted leave following the disposal of a review petition challenging the verdict that had scrapped the caretaker government provision.

সংবিধানে নির্বাচনকালীন তত্ত্বাবধায়ক সরকারব্যবস্থা ফেরাতে আপিলের টানা দশম দিনের শুনানি চলছে। মঙ্গলবার (১১ নভেম্বর) সকাল থেকে প্রধান বিচারপতি ড. সৈয়দ রেফাত আহমেদের নেতৃত্বে ৭ বিচারপতির পূর্ণাঙ্গ আপিল বিভাগ বেঞ্চে এ শুনানি শুরু হয়। আদালতে আবেদনের পক্ষে শুনানি করছেন জ্যেষ্ঠ আইনজীবী ড. শরীফ ভূঁইয়া। এর আগে গত ২, ৪, ৫, ৬ নভেম্বর ও ২৯, ২৮, ২৩, ২২ অক্টোবর তত্ত্বাবধায়ক সরকারব্যবস্থা ফেরাতে আপিলের টানা শুনানি হয়েছে। গত ২১ অক্টোবর নির্বাচনকালীন তত্ত্বাবধায়ক সরকারব্যবস্থা ফেরাতে আপিলের শুনানি শুরু হয়। এর আগে গত ২৭ আগস্ট তত্ত্বাবধায়ক সরকারব্যবস্থা বাতিলের রায় পুনর্বিবেচনা (রিভিউ) চেয়ে করা আবেদনের শুনানি শেষে আপিলের অনুমতি&nbsp;দেওয়া&nbsp;হয়।
