Hero Alam being taken to Dhaka for better treatment

Ashraful Alam alias Hero Alam, a popular content creator who fell ill after taking sleeping pills, is being taken to Dhaka from Bogura for advanced treatment.

His wife Riya Moni left for Dhaka with him on Friday (June 27) afternoon.

Earlier on Thursday, Hero Alam fell ill after taking excessive sleeping pills out of frustration while visiting a friend's house.

Hero Alam's friend Zahid said: "Hero Alam was very disappointed with the recent incident with Riya Moni (Hero Alam's wife). He may have taken excessive sleeping pills out of that disappointment."

"He was taken to Dhunat Upazila Health Complex unconscious at Friday noon. Later, he was shifted to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital. But is currently out of danger and discharged from the hospital," he added.

Hero Alam visited the house of his friend playwright Zahid Hasan Sagar in Bhandarbari village.

After discussing at night, the two fell asleep separately. Despite many calls, Hero Alam could not be woken up this Friday morning. At that time, his friend Zahid saw sleeping pills lying on his bed. He was immediately rushed to the hospital.

ATSI Lalon Hossain of Bogura Chilimpur (Medical) Police Outpost told Views Bangladesh that Hero Alam is completely out of danger. He left for Dhaka for better treatment after receiving treatment from the hospital in the afternoon.

Hero Alam couldn’t be reached for making comment on the matter.

Hero Alam recently announced a divorce to his wife Riya Moni. Since then, complications have arisen in their relationship. However, upon hearing the news of Hero Alam's illness, Riya Moni rushed to Bogura and took him to Dhaka for better treatment, said sources.
