Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed will travel to Vienna, Austria, to participate in the two-day Global Fraud Summit 2026 on March 16–17.

He will depart Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Sunday (March 15) at 4:50pm via Ethiopian Airlines and return on March 20 at 5:35am via Turkish Airlines.

The minister will lead Bangladesh’s five-member delegation and take part as a panelist in key sessions, including the High-Level Roundtable on Global Fraud Response Mechanism and the National Commitments/Pledges on Combating Fraud session.

He will also attend the summit’s inaugural and plenary sessions.

On the sidelines, Salahuddin Ahmed is scheduled for bilateral meetings with John Brandolino and UK Minister of State for the Home Office Lord Hanson.

The summit, organised by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in collaboration with Interpol, aims to strengthen international coordination in fraud prevention and law enforcement globally.
