How can AL announce a program just six months after it's fall: Sarjis

Sarjis Alam, the main organizer of the National Citizens Committee and one of the key coordinators of the student movement against discrimination, criticized the Awami League's announcement of its program just six months after the fall of the government.

He spoke about this while visiting an exhibition organized at Will's Little Flower School in Kakrail on Wednesday (January 29) morning.

Questioning the rationality of the hartal program, Sarjis Alam said, "How can the Awami League announce a program just six months after the fall of the government? How can they have so much courage even after killing so many people?"

He also said that the most dangerous forces in the 2024 mass uprising were the Jubo League and the Swechchhasebak League. They killed many innocent people. How can that party announce a new program now?

Commenting on Sheikh Hasina's return, Sarjis Alam said, "Sheikh Hasina will hang on the gallows if she returns to the country."
