The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination, originally scheduled for Thursday, July 24, has been postponed. Education Adviser Professor Dr. C. R. Abrar made the announcement this Tuesday afternoon at the Milestone School and College campus. Meanwhile, the interim government has deemed all six demands raised by the protesting students of Milestone School and College to be reasonable. This was confirmed in a statement issued by the Press Wing of the Chief Adviser of the interim government.

রাজধানীর উত্তরায় মাইলস্টোন স্কুল অ্যান্ড কলেজে বিমান বিধ্বস্তের ঘটনার পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে আসন্ন এইচএসসি পরীক্ষা স্থগিত করা হয়েছে। শিক্ষা উপদেষ্টা অধ্যাপক ড. সি. আর. আবরার মঙ্গলবার বিকেলে ঘটনাস্থল থেকে সরাসরি এই ঘোষণা দেন। তিনি বলেন, আগামী বৃহস্পতিবার, ২৪ জুলাই যে পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হওয়ার কথা ছিল, তা স্থগিত করা হয়েছে। এ বিষয়ে নতুন তারিখ পরে জানানো হবে। এদিকে, মাইলস্টোন স্কুল অ্যান্ড কলেজের শিক্ষার্থীরা যে ছয় দফা দাবি উত্থাপন করেছে, তা অন্তর্বর্তীকালীন সরকারের কাছে যৌক্তিক বলে মনে হয়েছে। প্রধান উপদেষ্টার প্রেস উইং থেকে পাঠানো এক বিবৃতিতে বলা হয়, সরকার শিক্ষার্থীদের উদ্বেগ ও ক্ষোভকে সম্মান জানায় এবং তাদের দাবি গুরুত্বের সঙ্গে বিবেচনা করছে।
