HSC examinee killed in crane accident in Chattogram

An HSC examinee, Nafisa Nawal (18), was killed in a road accident in Chattogram on Saturday (August 22) morning. The incident occurred at the Navy Hospital Gate in the EPZ area of Patenga in the port city.

According to police sources, Nafisa was critically injured after being hit by a crane while on her way to take an examination. She was taken to Chattogram Medical College (CMCH) Hospital, where doctors on duty in the emergency department declared her dead.

Sources said Nafisa Nawal was a student of CMP School and College. She was the daughter of Mamun Mia of the Asmat Ali House in the Kathgarh area of Patenga.

CMCH Hospital Police Box In-Charge SI Nurul Alam Ashik said Nafisa's body has been kept at the hospital morgue. The body will be handed over to the family after completing necessary procedures.
