HSC exams postponed under 3 education boards due to floods

Due to the ongoing flood situation across the country, today’s (July 10) HSC and equivalent exams have been postponed under three education boards. These boards are — Comilla Education Board, Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board, and Bangladesh Technical Education Board.

The boards issued separate notices late Tuesday night (July 9) announcing the postponement of the exams. They stated that the revised schedule will be published later through official announcements.

Comilla Education Board Exam Postponed

According to a notice from the Comilla Education Board, the exam scheduled for July 10 has been postponed due to heavy rainfall and flooding caused by upstream water in different areas of Feni and Noakhali districts.

However, exams from July 13 onwards will continue as per the previously announced schedule.

Alim Exams Under Madrasah Board Postponed

Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan, Controller of Examinations at the Madrasah Education Board, told the media that “All Alim exams across the country have been postponed.”

However, the exact reason for the postponement and the new exam dates have not been announced yet.

Technical Board Postpones HSC (Vocational) Exams

Engineer Md. Anwarul Kabir, Director (Curriculum) of the Bangladesh Technical Education Board, confirmed that the HSC (Vocational), HSC (BM), and Diploma in Engineering exams under the Technical Board have also been postponed.

Students have been advised to wait for further announcements.
