The HSC and equivalent examinations have been postponed to August 11 due to disruptions caused by the quota reform movement. Under the new decision, the HSC and equivalent exams will start according to the revised schedule from August 11. Dhaka Education Board Chairman Tapan Kumar Sarkar shared the update with the media on Thursday (August 1). Earlier, the HSC and equivalent exams for all education boards were postponed multiple times. The exams were first delayed on July 18, followed by further postponements for July 21, 23, and 25. Subsequently, the exams scheduled for July 28 to August 1 were postponed, with plans to resume on August 4. However, under the new decision, the exams will now be held from August 11 according to the revised schedule.

কোটা সংস্কার আন্দোলনকে কেন্দ্র করে সৃষ্ট উদ্ভূত পরিস্থিতিতে ১১ আগস্ট পর্যন্ত এইচএসসি ও সমমানের পরীক্ষা স্থগিত করা হয়েছে। নতুন সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী, ১১ আগস্ট থেকে নতুন সময়সূচিতে এইচএসসি ও সমমানের পরীক্ষা নেওয়া হবে। আজ বৃহস্পতিবার (১ আগস্ট) ঢাকা শিক্ষা বোর্ডের চেয়ারম্যান অধ্যাপক তপন কুমার সরকার গণমাধ্যমকে এ তথ্য জানিয়েছেন। এর আগে, তিন দফায় এইচএসসি ও সমমানের পরীক্ষা স্থগিত করা হয়েছিল। প্রথমে ১৮ জুলাইয়ের পরীক্ষা স্থগিত করা হয়। দ্বিতীয় দফায় ২১, ২৩ ও ২৫ জুলাইয়ের সব শিক্ষা বোর্ডের এইচএসসি ও সমমানের পরীক্ষা স্থগিত করা হয়। তৃতীয় দফায় ২৮ জুলাই থেকে ১ আগস্ট পর্যন্ত পরীক্ষা স্থগিত করা হয়। আগামী ৪ আগস্ট পরবর্তী পরীক্ষার তারিখ ছিল।
