Huge money lost in the name of railway dev: Adviser
Adviser to Railways Ministry Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan has said the previous government has wasted crores of money in the name of railway development.
“Railway lines have been installed unnecessarily. But quality of services on essential routes didn’t improve,” he said during a visit to Parbatipur locomotive manufacturing factory in Dinajpur on Friday (November 22).
“Railway network has been expanded everywhere without focusing on the quality of services and facilities of passengers,” he said.
Replying to a question, the adviser said that railway stations were constructed at various places including Gopalganj unnecessarily to make a person happy.
