I don't want to stay in corrupt politics anymore: Barrister Fuad
Barrister Asaduzzaman Fuad, the candidate of the 11-party alliance for the Barisal-3 (Babuganj-Muladi) constituency in the 13th National Parliament elections has said that he doesn't want to stay in 'corrupt politics' anymore.
The General Secretary of Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party) also stated that people's support is essential to build a justice-based Bangladesh.
He said this at a public rally in Baherchar, Idelkathi and Rakudia Notunhat areas of Dehergati Union in Babuganj Upazila of Barisal on Wednesday (February 4).
At the street rally, Barrister Fuad said, "We don't want to stay in corrupt politics anymore. We want the politics of change."
He told the voters that to build a Bangladesh of justice, they must vote 'yes' in the referendum along with the eagle symbol. This will form a people's government and maintain continuity of development. Otherwise, a fascist government may rise in the country again.
He further said that for the last 55 years, Barisal-3 constituency has remained neglected. Despite all the possibilities, the people of this township including Babuganj have been discriminated against due to the lack of honest and competent leadership.
Barrister Fuad said that old style politics cannot be allowed to continue. He urged people to vote for the eagle symbol as the candidate of the 11-party alliance led by Jamaat to build a justice-based Bangladesh.
