ICT case against Hasina: Testimony of special investigating officer to be broadcast live

The Special Investigating Officer is set to testify against ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and three others in the case of crimes against humanity committed during the July uprising tomorrow (September 24).

The hearing will be broadcast live, International Crimes Tribunal Prosecutor Gazi M. H. Tamim told reporters on Tuesday (September 23).

He said that the statement of an important witness in the case will be broadcast live from the tribunal. The name of the Special Investigating Officer was not disclosed.

However, souces said that Prosecutor Tanvir Joha's statement will be recorded tomorrow.

He will deliver his statement before a three-member tribunal led by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mozumder. The other members of the panel are Justice Md. Shafiul Alam Mahmud and retired District and Sessions Judge Md. Mohitul Haque Enam Chowdhury.
