Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has urged people worldwide to follow the exemplary life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to establish peace, justice, and welfare in today’s turbulent world.
In a message released on Friday (September 5) to mark the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi the holy day commemorating the birth and passing of the final Prophet Dr. Yunus highlighted the universal relevance of the Prophet’s life, teachings, and Sunnah.
Describing the Prophet’s life as a perfect model, Dr. Yunus said, “The great ideals and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) serve as the best example for all people to follow in both religious and worldly matters. Within these teachings lies the key to unlimited prosperity, success, and peace, especially for Muslims.”
Dr. Yunus referred to the Quranic verse which describes the Prophet as “a mercy to the worlds” (Surah Al-Anbiya, Ayah 107), and praised him as “Sirajun Munira,” a radiant light who came to dispel ignorance, injustice, and oppression.
He further noted that the Prophet’s life, characterized by deep devotion to Allah, exemplary character, compassion, and noble qualities, is described in the Quran as Uswatun Hasanah the most beautiful example for humanity to emulate.
Extending his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim community worldwide on this auspicious day, Dr. Yunus hoped that the occasion would bring immense peace and prosperity to all and strengthen the unity of the Muslim Ummah.
