Import of e-cigarettes banned

The advisory council has asked to take urgent and necessary measures to ban the import of all products related to e-cigarettes or electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) in order to protect public health and keep future generations safe.

This instruction was given at the meeting of the advisory council of the interim government on Thursday (December 12).

A press release of the Cabinet Division said that urgent and necessary measures will be taken to ban the import of all products related to e-cigarettes or electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) in order to protect public health and keep future generations safe.

E-cigarettes or electronic nicotine delivery systems will be included in the list of products prohibited from import in the import policy order of the Ministry of Commerce, it added.
