India calls for thorough investigation into Osman Hadi's murder

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs summoned Bangladesh High Commissioner Riaz Hamidullah on Wednesday (December 24), news agency PTI reported. At that time, India's concerns were expressed over the investigation into the murder.

New Delhi has urged the Bangladesh government to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the matter following allegations of India's involvement in the murder of Osman Hadi.

The report also mentioned that anti-India sentiment has increased in Bangladesh after Hadi's death, PTI reported.

The Ministry of External Affairs summoned Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pranay Verma on Tuesday (December 23). At that time, the Foreign Secretary expressed deep concern over the attacks and vandalism on Bangladesh's diplomatic establishments in New Delhi and Siliguri. At the same time, the issue of ensuring the security of Bangladeshi diplomats stationed in India was highlighted with importance.
