The High Commission of India in Bangladesh held a solemn remembrance ceremony on Friday to honor the victims of the brutal terrorist attack that occurred on April 22, 2025, in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Pranay Verma, was joined by the Ambassador of Nepal to Bangladesh, Ghanshyam Bhandari, in paying tributes to those who lost their lives in the attack. The ceremony saw a large participation from members of the Indian diaspora and friends of India in Bangladesh, who gathered to offer their condolences, according to the High Commission.

জম্মু ও কাশ্মীরের পেহেলগামে সন্ত্রাসী হামলায় নিহতদের স্মরণে ঢাকায় শ্রদ্ধাঞ্জলি অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজন করেছে ভারতীয় হাইকমিশন। শুক্রবার (২ মে) আয়োজিত এ অনুষ্ঠানে ওই হামলায় নিহতদের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা জানানো হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বাংলাদেশে নিযুক্ত ভারতীয় হাইকমিশনার প্রণয় কুমার ভার্মা এবং নেপালের রাষ্ট্রদূত ঘনশ্যাম ভান্ডারি। তারা নিহতদের স্মরণে শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করেন। ভারতীয় হাইকমিশনের পক্ষ থেকে জানানো হয়, বাংলাদেশে অবস্থানরত ভারতীয় নাগরিক এবং ভারতের বন্ধুপ্রতিম ব্যক্তিরাও এই আয়োজনে অংশ নিয়ে শ্রদ্ধা জানান ও সমবেদনা প্রকাশ করেন।
