Indian visa centers closed indefinitely amid ongoing unrest
The High Commission of India in Dhaka has declared shut down all visa application centers in Bangladesh amid the ongoing unrest across the country.
The Indian Visa Application Center (IVAC) confirmed the announcement through their official website on Wednesday (August 7).
It said that all IVACs will remain closed until further notice due to the unstable situation.
Applicants will be notified of the next application date via SMS and are requested to collect their passports on the following working day.
Earlier, the Indian Embassy advised Indian citizens and students in Bangladesh to limit their movement due to the ongoing anti-discrimination student movement.
