The injured protesters from the July mass uprising lifted their blockade from Mirpur Road in the capital this evening and are now marching toward the residence of Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus with their demands.

The injured protesters began their journey toward the Chief Advisor's residence, Jamuna, around 6:30 pm on Sunday (February 2).

The protesters stated that they were gathering in front of the National Institute of Ophthalmology, while those hospitalized would take their medical documents and proceed toward the Chief Advisor's residence.

Earlier on Saturday, the injured protesters occupied Mirpur Road throughout the day, demanding proper treatment, rehabilitation, and state recognition. In the afternoon, they initially planned a march toward the Secretariat but canceled it after 4.00 pm, choosing instead to remain at the Shishu Mela intersection.
