The Bangladesh Inter-education Board Coordination Committee has warned against misleading information being spread on social media about the ongoing HSC and equivalent exams. Examinees, guardians, teachers and all concerned have been urged to take information only from government sources instead of listening to rumors.

In a notice published today (July 8), the Inter-education Board Coordination Committee said that a notice circulated in their name on Facebook has claimed that the Chittagong Education Board will hold the exams as per the predetermined schedule from 1 pm on July 8. But this claim is completely false, misleading and motivated.

The notice said that for the information of all concerned examinees, guardians, teachers, heads of educational institutions, officers in charge of the center and the public, it is being informed that the misleading notice circulated on social media in the name of the Bangladesh Inter-education Board Coordination Committee that the exams of the Chattogram Education Board will start as per the predetermined schedule from 1 pm on July 8 is completely untrue and motivated. The Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Chittagong or the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee have no connection with such untrue and misleading notifications. Do not believe or share any information circulated on social media without verifying it. All examination-related decisions, notifications and instructions are published only on the official websites and verified Facebook pages of the Ministry of Education, Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and the concerned education boards. In the public interest, everyone is requested to refrain from spreading rumors and misleading information.
