The official Facebook page of Islami Bank Bangladesh, one of the country’s leading private financial institutions, was hacked early Friday morning. At 5:42 am on October 3, a hacker group posted messages on the bank’s verified page. The hackers claimed responsibility in a post, stating, “This page has been hacked by MS 470X.” Several other posts were also uploaded from the compromised page. While the main page name remained unchanged, the hackers altered the page’s nickname and replaced the profile and cover photos with their own images.

দেশের অন্যতম শীর্ষস্থানীয় বেসরকারি আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠান ইসলামী ব্যাংক বাংলাদেশ লিমিটেডের অফিসিয়াল ফেসবুক পেজ হ্যাকড হয়েছে। শুক্রবার (৩ অক্টোবর) ভোর ৫টা ৪২ মিনিটে ব্যাংকের ভেরিফায়েড পেজ থেকে একাধিক পোস্ট দেয়া হয়। হ্যাকার গ্রুপটি এক পোস্টে দাবি করে, 'এই পেজটি হ্যাক করেছে MS 470X।' এরপর পেজ থেকে আরও কয়েকটি পোস্ট আপলোড করা হয়। তবে মূল পেজের নাম অপরিবর্তিত থাকলেও হ্যাকাররা পেজের ডাকনাম পরিবর্তন করেছে। পাশাপাশি প্রোফাইল ও কভার ছবি পরিবর্তন করে নিজেদের ছবি যুক্ত করেছে।
