Israeli strikes on Gaza during Eid al-Fitr have killed 64 Palestinians, including children.

The bodies of eight doctors who went missing in the Palestinian enclave have been recovered, the Red Crescent has said in a statement. Al Jazeera reported on Monday.

It said that Israeli forces killed at least 64 people, including children, in Gaza on the first day of the holy Eid al-Fitr, Palestinian officials said.

Meanwhile, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has recovered the bodies of eight doctors, five civil defense workers and a UN employee, a week after their vehicle was hit by Israeli shelling near Rafah in southern Gaza.

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) condemned the killings.

Meanwhile, the Palestinians' Eid celebrations in the Gaza Strip have turned into a nightmare. The occupation forces have turned the valley into a ruin, leaving the people there with nowhere to lay their heads.

Al Jazeera reported, "Children who used to wear new clothes on this day are now hungry and mentally disturbed. Gazans have no security, no festive food. Israeli forces have been demolishing settlements there since dawn today."

The Gaza Health Ministry said that at least 50,277 Palestinians have been killed and 114,095 others injured in the Israeli aggression against Gaza since October 2023.
