Global smart life consumer electronics brand itel has introduced an attractive 180-day replacement warranty for its feature phone users in the Bangladesh market. From now on, customers will get a complete handset replacement within the first six months if any manufacturing defect is found in any itel feature phone purchased on or after May 20, 2026.
The company stated that this initiative aims to ensure fast and reliable after-sales service for feature phone users, significantly easing customer hassle. Along with this special 180-day replacement benefit, the regular one-year standard warranty will also remain applicable, providing consumers with greater confidence and assurance.
Under this new policy, the replacement facility will cover specific manufacturing defects, including power-on issues, display glitches, charging problems, speaker or microphone faults, SIM or network connectivity issues, and keypad malfunctions. To avail of this service, customers need to visit their nearest Carlcare service center with the handset, the original cash memo, and the phone box. Following necessary verification, an eligible device will be replaced with a brand-new handset on the very same day.
However, the company clarified that certain conditions will exclude a device from this replacement facility. Devices with physical damage, water or liquid logging, unauthorized repairs, tempered warranty seals, or discrepancies in the IMEI number will not be eligible for the replacement offer.
