Jhilpar slum fire under control
A fire that broke out at Jhilpar slum in Mirpur-12 in the capital has been brought under control. According to the fire service, the fire was brought under control around 2.00pm after about an hour of efforts.
Earlier, the fire broke out around 1.00pm. The army joined the fire service to help control the fire.
The fire service received information about the fire at 12:57 pm and reached the spot at 1:10pm. Eight units of fire service worked to control the fire.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage was not known yet. Apart from this, no casualties were reported in the fire.
