Joint forces drive: 51 arrested, 111 firearms seized in 7 days

Joint forces seized 111 illegal weapons of various types and arrested 51 people in seven days.

According to the police headquarters, the weapons were recovered and the arrests were made between September 4 and September 10.

Among the recovered weapons are seven revolvers, 30 pistols, nine rifles, 15 shotguns, three pipe guns, 16 shooter guns, five LGs, 15 guns, one AK-47, one gas gun, one Chinese rifle, one air gun, one tear gas launcher, three SMGs, and three SBBLs.

The joint operation includes the Bangladesh Armed Forces, Police, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces, Coast Guard, and Rab.
