Jubayer-Sayeed lead COUJA

The executive council election of the Comilla University Journalists Association (COUJA) for the year 2024 resulted in the election of Jubayer Rahman (the university representative of Daily Manab Kantho) as the president, and Sayeed Hasan (the representative of Dainik Jugantar) as the general secretary.

The election took place on Thursday, January 18, at 3 pm at the Journalist Association's office. Election Commissioner Dr. Jannatul Ferdous and Md. Kamrul Islam announced the result.

Other members of the newly formed committee are Mohammad Shaheen Alam, who has been elected as the vice-president  (representing Share Bizz), Naimur Rahman Rizvi,has been elected as the joint general secretary  (university representative of Desh Rupantor),  Muradul Mustakim Murad has been elected as the finance secretary ((Banglavision-Online),andAbu Shama has been elected as the office editor(Dainik Kalbela), Chowdhury Abdullah Masabih elected as University Representative Information and Library Editor (Dainik Aamar Barta), Executive Member Rakibul Hasan (Dainik Vorer Dak), and Hasan Al Mahmud (Amader Notun Somoy) are also part of the executive council.
