Judge’s son Tawsif died from excessive bleeding
Rajshahi Metropolitan Sessions Judge Abdur Rahman’s son Tawsif Rahman Suman, 19, died from excessive bleeding, according to the doctors who conducted the post-mortem. His autopsy was carried out on Friday morning at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
Forensic expert Dr Kafil Uddin said Tawsif had sharp-weapon injuries on his right thigh, leg and arm, and he died due to excessive bleeding caused by severed blood vessels in those areas. He added that soft-fabric pressure marks were also found on the neck, indicating an attempt to suffocate him, although this was not the primary cause of death.
After the post-mortem, Tawsif was taken to his ancestral home in Jamalpur for burial.
Earlier, on Thursday afternoon, Tawsif was killed at a rented house in the Dabtola area of Rajshahi city. Attacker Limon Mia and Tawsif’s mother Tasmin Nahar Lusi were injured at the time and are undergoing treatment at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
Regarding the matter, hospital physician Shankar Kumar Biswas said Tawsif’s mother, Tasmin Nahar Lusi, is under treatment at the hospital. Her condition is stable and improving. He added that the attacker, who was also injured during the scuffle, is receiving treatment under police custody.
