July Unity stages protest at Dhaka University

July Unity has held a protest rally demanding the removal of 'unity destroyer and Indian friends in the advisory council' and the July Declaration.

This demand was made at a protest rally at the foot of the Raju sculpture at Dhaka University at 10:30 pm on Thursday (May 22).

At the rally, Abdullah Al Minhaj, one of the organizers of July Unity, said: "Those who came to power on the blood of July have not done any visible work on various issues. You are gaining power by pushing the soldiers of July into danger."

Addressing the chief adviset, he said: "We want to trust you. Remove the traitors of July around you."

"Just as we forced the murderer Hasina to flee to India, we will also force those who will betray with the blood of July heroes to flee."

Addressing adviser Mahfuj, he also said: "Mahfuj, you have betrayed the July. We will not tolerate anyone becoming a traitor on the issue of the country."

Platform spokesperson Israfil Farazi said: "Until the traitors of July are brought to justice, the warriors of July will not return home."

They demanded that the July Declaration be announced immediately.
