The Junior Scholarship Exam for Class 8, scheduled for Wednesday (December 31), has been postponed. Dhaka Education Board issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday (December 30). The notification said that the Bangladesh government has declared a general holiday on Wednesday, December 31, following the death of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. In this situation, the previously announced December 31 exam of the ongoing Junior Scholarship Exam has been postponed. The postponed exam will be held on Monday, January 5.

আগামীকাল বুধবার (৩১ ডিসেম্বর) অনুষ্ঠেয় অষ্টম শ্রেণির জুনিয়র বৃত্তি পরীক্ষা স্থগিত করা হয়েছে। আজ মঙ্গলবার (৩০ ডিসেম্বর) ঢাকা শিক্ষা বোর্ড এ সক্রান্ত বিজ্ঞপ্তি জারি করেছে। বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়, সাবেক প্রধানমন্ত্রী বেগম খালেদা জিয়ার মৃত্যুতে বাংলাদেশ সরকার আগামী ৩১ ডিসেম্বর বুধবার সাধারণ ছুটি ঘোষণা করেছেন। এমতাবস্থায় চলমান জুনিয়র বৃত্তি পরীক্ষার পূর্ব ঘোষিত ৩১ ডিসেম্বরের পরীক্ষা স্থগিত করা হলো। স্থগিত করা পরীক্ষা আগামী ৫ জানুয়ারি সোমবার অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।
