Justice Shahed Nuruddin of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court has resigned. The Supreme Court administration confirmed this information on Thursday. An investigation was underway against him in the Supreme Judicial Council. Justice Shahed Nuruddin was the judge in the 2004 Dhaka grenade attack case. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in law from Dhaka University.

সুপ্রিম কোর্টের হাইকোর্ট বিভাগের বিচারপতি শাহেদ নূরউদ্দিন পদত্যাগ করেছেন। বৃহস্পতিবার (৩০ জানুয়ারি) সুপ্রিম কোর্ট প্রশাসন এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছে। তার বিরুদ্ধে সুপ্রিম জুডিশিয়াল কাউন্সিলে অনুসন্ধান চলমান ছিল। বিচারপতি শাহেদ নূরউদ্দিন ২০০৪ সালের ঢাকা গ্রেনেড হামলা মামলার বিচারক ছিলেন। তিনি ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে আইন বিষয়ে স্নাতক এবং স্নাতকোত্তর ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেন।
