Kader Siddique's residence attacked, vandalised in Tangail

A violent attack was carried out by a group of unidentified miscreants at 'Sonar Bangla', the Tangail residence of Krishak Sramik Janata League (KSJL) President Bangabir Kader Siddique Bir Uttam, resulting in significant damage to the property.

The incident took place around 1.00am on Saturday (September 6).

Kader Siddique was staying on the second floor of the house at that time, said the house caretaker.

A group of 10 to 15 miscreants initiated the attack by hurling bricks. They later scaled the gate, entered the premises, and vandalized two vehicles.

Upon hearing the commotion, nearby residents rushed to the scene, prompting the miscreants to flee immediately.

Tanvir Ahmed, officer-in-charge (OC) of Tangail Police Station, said, "An investigation into the incident is underway. Those involved in the attack will be identified and brought to justice very soon."
