Kalshi slum fire brought under control

The fire service brought the terrible fire that broke out in the Kalshi slum in Mirpur of the capital under control after an effort of about two hours.


According to fire service sources, the fire was brought under control around 9:25pm on Monday (May 25).


Fifteen units of the fire service are working to control the fire. However, no information has been given so far about the cause of the fire, the extent of damage or casualties.


According to the fire service, the fire was reported in the Kalshi slum shortly before 7:30pm. Initially, two units reached the spot and started the work of controlling the fire. Later, when the situation became complicated, more units were added in stages.


Finally, the fire was brought under control after continuous efforts of 15 units.
