Khaleda Zia's personal physician Zahid Hossain's mother in CCU

BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's personal physician and also a member of party's standing committee Dr Zahid Hossain's mother Begum Zebun Nesa is also undergoing treatment at the CCU of Evercare Hospital in the capital. She has been receiving treatment there for more than a week.

Hospital sources said that Begum Zebun Nesa, who is about 82 years old, was suffering from various complications related to old age. She was admitted to the hospital on November 24 when her physical condition deteriorated. The day before (November 23), Khaleda Zia was admitted to the same hospital.

As a member of Khaleda Zia's medical board, Zahid Hossain is coordinating her treatment. At the same time, he has to provide care to his sick mother in the CCU. Since both the mother and the party chairperson are in critical condition, he has sought prayers from everyone.
