Khilgaon OC transferred, Saiful Islam gets new assignment

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khilgaon Police Station under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Mohammad Shafiqul Islam, has been transferred. Unarmed Police Inspector Mohammad Saiful Islam of the Detective Police's Tejgaon division has been given the responsibility as the new OC in his place.

The information was conveyed in an office order signed by DMP Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters and Administration) Md Shahriar Ali on Monday, September 21. He confirmed the matter at night.

The office order stated that the current OC of Khilgaon Police Station, Mohammad Shafiqul Islam, has been transferred to the Counter Terrorism Investigation Division.

On the other hand, unarmed Police Inspector Mohammad Saiful Islam of the Detective Tejgaon division has been posted as the Officer-in-Charge of Khilgaon Police Station.

According to the DMP order, the decision to transfer Shafiqul Islam to his new workplace and post Saiful Islam as OC of Khilgaon Police Station will take effect immediately.

In his new assignment, Mohammad Saiful Islam will lead the maintenance of law and order, crime suppression and overall activities of Khilgaon Police Station.
