Launch trader shot in South Badda, admitted to DMCH

A launch trader named Ujjal Bhuiyan (47) has been shot by unidentified assailants in the capital's South Badda. He was rescued and admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

The incident occurred around 11pm on Thursday, September 10, in the Darogabari Mor area of South Badda.

Ujjal is a permanent resident of the Darogabari Mor area in South Badda. His father's name is Abdul Sattar.

Ujjal's brother Yubraj said Ujjal returned home around 11pm in a bloody condition, holding his right chest. At that time, he only said he had been shot. However, he could not say who shot him or why.

Later, family members rescued him in a bullet-injured condition and took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Habibur Rahman, in-charge of the DMCH police camp, said a man named Ujjal was brought to the hospital's emergency department in a bullet-injured condition from Badda. He was later admitted to the hospital. The matter has been reported to Badda police station.
