Lawyer Saiful's killers to be punished: Nahid Islam

Information and Broadcasting Advisor Nahid Islam has assured that the killers of lawyer Saiful Islam Alif will be severely punished.

He made the remark in a post on his verified Facebook page on Tuesday night (November 26).

"The interim government has consistently prioritized the safety of the minority community and accused Chinmoy Krishna Das of inciting communal division with false statements, leading to the brutal murder of a lawyer in a Chattogram court," he said in the post.

Nahid Islam, said, "Chinmoy Krishna’s actions were part of a broader plan to destroy national harmony and create terrorist groups for communal purposes."

The advisor further criticized the Awami League, accusing it of using the minority community for political gain. He assured that the Bangladesh government would ensure the safety of the Hindu community and deliver justice through legal channels for those behind the attack.

"Everyone should remain calm and patient. The terrorists will be arrested soon," he added.
