Legal action will be taken against Ad-Din Hospital after investigation report: Health Minister

Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain Bakul said that the death incident in the children's ward of Ad-Din Hospital is very painful. The AC of the children's ward was turned off at the request of a mother. Later, it is believed that this unfortunate incident may have occurred due to gas leakage.

He said that an investigation committee was formed immediately after learning about the incident and was ordered to submit a report within 72 hours. After receiving the investigation report, all kinds of legal action will be taken against the hospital.

Eid prayers were held at the main Eidgah of Monohardi Upazila-Government Model Pilot High School grounds at 8am on Thursday (May 28). Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain Bakul offered prayers there. He made these remarks after the prayers.

The minister said that the government has sufficient vaccines to prevent measles and work is underway to bring every child under the ambit of vaccination.

The upazila administration and local political leaders were also present at the Eid prayers. After the prayers, the worshippers exchanged greetings with each other.

Meanwhile, large Eid congregations were held in different areas of Narsingdi. The largest congregation in the district was held at Gabtoli Eidgah Maidan and the main congregation was held at the District Collectorate Eidgah Ground.
