LPG price reduced by Tk 3

The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has been reduced again for consumers. For September, the price of a 12kg LPG cylinder has been cut by Tk 3, bringing it down to Tk 1,270.

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new price on Tuesday (September 2). The new rate will take effect from 6pm the same day.

BERC Chairman Jalal Ahmed said that for September, the price of a 12kg LPG cylinder has been revised from Tk 1,273 to Tk 1,270.

Earlier in August, the price of a 12kg cylinder was reduced by Tk 91 to Tk 1,273. At the same time, the price of autogas was also reduced by Tk 4.18 to Tk 58.28.
