Madrasa teacher held over attempted rape of 3 students

Teacher Abdullah Al Mamun has been accused of attempting to rape three students of Harinbaria Kamia Darul Ulum Qawmi Madrasa in Kalukhali Upazila of Rajbari. The mother of one of the victims in this incident filed a case with Kalukhali Police Station on Wednesday. Later, the police arrested teacher Mamun.

Teacher Abdullah Al Mamun is the son of Belzar Hossain of Sonatan Kathi area of ​​Paikgachha, Khulna.

It is alleged in the case that on February 25, at around 12:15 am, teacher Mamun called her son (14) and attempted to rape him. Her son tactfully pushed teacher Mamun away. Mamun tried to rape two more students of the madrasa in the same way. Mamun had been trying to rape the students in this way for quite some time. The students were intimidated in various ways so that they did not tell anyone about the matter. Recently, when the matter came to light, local people arrested Mamun on Tuesday night and handed him over to the Kalukhali police station. Later, the police went and arrested him and brought him to the police station.

Kalukhali Police Station OC Muhammad Jahedur Rahman said that when the matter came to light, locals arrested madrasa teacher Abdullah Al Mamun on Tuesday night and informed the police. This afternoon, the mother of a madrasa student filed a case with the police station in this regard. The arrested Mamun was sent to court.

The OC also said that teacher Mamun had been trying to rape several students for a long time. He used to threaten the students in various ways so that they would not tell anyone about the matter. Three guardians have made such allegations.
