Magura rape victim left us in tears and shame: Mirza Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Thursday (March 13) expressed deep shock and sorrow over the death of Magura rape victim saying the child has passed away leaving the whole nation in tears with shame and this feeling cannot be expressed in words.

In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed her deep condolences to bereaved family.

He also demanded exemplary punishment of the culprits involved with the rape.

“It’s not possible to express in word how much shame and tears the child left for the world due to brutality of the rapists,” said Fakhrul.

The 8-year-old Magura rape victim passed away while undergoing treatment at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital around 1 pm today.

She was raped while visiting her sister's in-laws house recently.
