Prime Minister's Education and Primary and Mass Education Adviser and PMO Spokesperson Mahdi Amin has announced five student-friendly initiatives by the government regarding the HSC and equivalent examinations.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, July 15, Mahdi Amin said examinations were held peacefully across 2,583 centres nationwide, excluding Chattogram board, with weather improving and students participating enthusiastically. He said the initiatives were taken based on opinions from divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners, police superintendents, education board chairmen, weather department officials, and stakeholders.

The five initiatives are:
Students who missed any exam due to adverse weather or unavoidable reasons will get a chance to take the exam again with the same question paper at a date and time fixed by the education ministry.

Local administration has been authorised to change centres, postpone exams, or extend time if needed due to communication or waterlogging problems.

Students who missed exams will appear with the same question paper of the already postponed Chattogram board subjects.

All students will receive full marks for two erroneous questions in the Physics first paper.

Those responsible for the erroneous question papers have been temporarily suspended.

Mahdi Amin said the Prime Minister considers HSC exams not just an examination but a crucial milestone in building the future of the nation's future architects. The government is working with utmost sincerity and responsibility to ensure student welfare and continuity of education.
