Main suspect in Rajshahi railway station attack detained

The police detained the main suspect in the attack and vandalism at Rajshahi Railway Station. The individual was detained on Tuesday night (January 28) during an operation in Chuadanga.

Mohammad Abu Sufian, Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police, confirmed the arrest. He said, "Suman Ahmed, the mastermind behind the attack and vandalism at Rajshahi Railway Station on Tuesday morning, was apprehended by the RM Police Cyber Unit late at night in Chuadanga, based on gathered intelligence. Further details will be provided later."

Meanwhile, it has been reported that a case is being prepared at the GRP Rajshahi Police Station regarding the incident. Gopal Karmakar, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rajshahi Railway Police Station, said, "We are carrying out operations and making preparations to file a case. More details will be shared once the case is filed."
