Man snatches bag with cleaver in hand, walks past police in Dhanmondi

A video circulating on social media shows a shocking incident where a young man, wielding a cleaver, snatches a bag from another youth and walks past police officers without any intervention.

The video, which emerged on Friday evening (June 18), captures the moment a man in black pants threatens a young man in a white shirt with a cleaver before grabbing the bag. He then crosses the road and leaves the scene, passing right in front of police officers who were busy controlling traffic.

Despite several bystanders present at the scene, no one stepped in, and many simply watched the incident unfold.

The incident reportedly took place near Dhanmondi 32, opposite New Model Multipurpose High School.

As of now, no official statement has been released by the police regarding the incident.
