March 7 speech suddenly plays at abandoned Awami League office in Naogaon
The historic March 7 speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman suddenly blared from the almost abandoned district office of the banned Bangladesh Awami League in Naogaon. The speech was broadcast through a microphone at the party office located at Sarishahatir More in the city on Saturday morning, March 7.
The incident has sparked widespread curiosity and discussion in the area.
According to local sources, the historic March 7 speech was suddenly heard playing from a small microphone on the third floor of the abandoned office in the morning. Later, a video of the incident circulated on social media platform Facebook.
The video shows the speech being played through a small microphone set up on the third floor of the dilapidated, almost abandoned office. However, no specific information has yet been obtained about who set up the microphone there, when, or how. No leaders or activists of the party were seen at the scene.
Later, a few party leaders and activists shared the video of the broadcast on their personal Facebook IDs.
Regarding the matter, Naogaon Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Niamul Haque said police have heard about such an incident. It has been learned that local people later removed the microphone.
