In the twelfth national parliament, five people including Mashrafe bin Mortuza elected from Narail-2 seat have been appointed as whips. The other whips include Abu Sayeed Al Mahmood Swapan from Jaipurhat-2, Iqbalur Rahim from Dinajpur-3, Saimum Sarwar Kamal from Cox's Bazar Sadar, and Nozrul Islam Babu from Narayanganj-2. Prior to this, Nurul Alam Chowdhury was appointed as the chief whip of the National Parliament, having been elected from Madaripur-1. He previously served as the chief whip in the Eleventh National Parliament.

দ্বাদশ জাতীয় সংসদে নড়াইল-২ আসন থেকে নির্বাচিত মাশরাফি বিন মর্তুজাসহ পাঁচজন হুইপ হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পেয়েছেন। দায়িত্ব প্রাপ্ত অন্যরা হলেন- জয়পুরহাট-২ আসন থেকে নির্বাচিত আবু সাঈদ আল মাহমুদ স্বপন, দিনাজপুর-৩ আসন থেকে নির্বাচিত ইকবালুর রহিম, কক্সবাজার সদর আসন থেকে নির্বাচিত সাইমুম সরওয়ার কমল ও নারায়ণগঞ্জ-২ আসন থেকে নির্বাচিত নজরুল ইসলাম বাবু। এর আগে মাদারীপুর-১ আসন থেকে নির্বাচিত সংসদ সদস্য নূর-ই-আলম চৌধুরীকে জাতীয় সংসদের চিফ হুইপের দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছে। তিনি একাদশ জাতীয় সংসদেও চিফ হুইপ হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন।
