A terrible fire broke out at Khulna City Medical College Hospital. The fire broke out around 9:30 pm on Thursday (June 11). A total of 12 units of Fire Service have already reached the spot and are working to control the fire. However, it is not immediately known how the fire started. Besides, no information has been received about the casualties in the fire so far. Eyewitnesses said that the Fire Service arrived at the spot after receiving the news of the fire at Khulna City Medical College and Hospital at night. Police and locals are participating in the fire extinguishing work with them. Patients in the hospital and their relatives rushed out in panic after the fire broke out.

খুলনা সিটি মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে ভয়াবহ অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনা ঘটেছে। বৃহস্পতিবার (১১ জুন) রাত সাড়ে ৯টার দিকে এ অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনা ঘটে। খবর পেয়ে ইতোমধ্যে ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছে আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে কাজ করেছে ফায়ার সার্ভিসের ১২ ইউনিট। তবে তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে আগুনের সূত্রপাত কীভাবে সে বিষয়ে কিছু জানা যায়নি। এছাড়া অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনায় এখন পর্যন্ত হতাহতের বিষয়ে কোনো তথ্য পাওয়া যায়নি। প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীরা জানান, রাতে খুলনা সিটি মেডিকেল কলেজ ও হাসপাতালে আগুনের খবর পেয়ে ঘটনাস্থলে এসেছে ফায়ার সার্ভিস। তাদের সঙ্গে পুলিশ ও স্থানীয়রা আগুন নেভানোর কাজে অংশ নিচ্ছেন। হাসপাতালে থাকা রোগী ও তাদের স্বজনরা আগুন লাগার পর আতঙ্কিত হয়ে বাইরে ছুটে এসেছেন।
